i'm a Radical Faerie, and we have a few queer spaces - santuaries and intentional communities - throught the USA. I'm interested in this tribe because i'm working on some fund-raising that will lead to the purchase of some rural land in Northern California so we can have a faerie-identified retreat center.
Additionally, I'm working to help create a queer/faerie healing arts center in the Castro neighborhood of San Francisco. It will be an urban space (probably only indoor, but some outdoor room would be lovely too) where people can practice massage, reiki, hypnosis, energy work, accupressure/accupuncture, herbalism and other healing modalities. (Profits from this center will go towards purchasing the other land, above).

Re: a project i'm working on
Fri, July 2, 2004 - 2:51 AMHi Scooter,
For those of us who haven't been to a faerie sanctuary, do you want to describe the ones you visit a little bit more? What's good, what's lacking? How do they differ from more conventional 'gay' spaces?
