We have a less defined version of that idea here in Nashville - mostly because we've never tried to define it :)

But whenever a group (3, 4, 5, more) of us decide to attend an event, we tend to bring it Faerie energy. For instance, a local AIDS benefit called Zootopia benefited from our attending - the patrons mostly came in jeans and nice shirts, but the Faeries came dressed in our finest Fur & Feathers. Caused a bit of double-takes, some fun times, and we all had a great time. Plus we brought some fire-spinners with us that performed for a couple hours.

And when we head to the local snob bar, Trite - sorry, I mean "Tribe" - we try to add glitter and glamour as much as possible.

I think that's probably a good description of a GFE - Guerilla Faerie Event :)

There's a possibility that some of us might organise a guerrilla queer bar in London during the European Social Forum in a couple of weeks time (mainly 'cos there are already loads of parties going on and we don't have the energy to organise a full-on party ourselves). So, look out for a burst of radical queer energy on Old Compton during the period 14-17 October.
